Friday Night

6pm Sunset

7.00pm - Dinner – Benalla Golf Club, 170 Mansfield Road, Benalla – under the name Williamstown Camera Club

Saturday 

6.30 - Sunrise On the bridge Mair Street

Grab a Benalla Breakfast then wander around the Botanical Gardens – Macro, Flowers etc.  Benalla Art Gallery (on the river) opens at 10.00am and the Café opens at 8.00am. 

Stop for lunch or head to the wetlands earlier and grab a bite at the Cafe there before meeting up.

1.00/1.30 Winton Wetlands meeting at Mokoan Hub & Café.  Café is open from 9.00 – 4.00pm. 

6.00 - Sunset(?) Boggy Creek Road tbc

7.00 - Dinner: North Eastern Hotel “The Northo”,
        1 Nunn Street, Benalla under the name Williamstown Camera Club.

Astro out at Winton Wetlands after dinner for those interested.  Location to be confirmed following the afternoon visit.    

Sunday

6:30am - Back to Winton for sunrise – Boggy Creek – Lake Mokoan tbc 

Breakfast self cater or purchase in Benalla 

10:00 – Goorambat and Devenish Silo Art.  Could head on to St. James 

Lunch at Goorambat Hotel – 12 – 2 dining room open.  You can decide.   

Finish for those who are heading home.   

Suggestions for those staying

  • Continue Silo Trail heading north from Goorambat – Devenish, St. James and Tungamah. 
  • Lots of Wineries for Cellar Doors
  • Cactus Country
    4986 Murray Valley Highway, Strathmerton
    Open Wednesday to Sundays 10.00 – 5.00pm.
    Good for macro, landscape and portraiture.  
    Entry fee $17.50
    There is a café on site – cactus cake and cactus ice cream!
